Huppahs and fabric items are made to order and are not returnable, except in cases where we make an error or the product arrives damaged.
When your order arrives, inspect it immediately. If the shipping box appears damaged, note the damage when you sign for the shipment, and take a photo of it before opening it, for your sake and for ours. Carriers are responsible for damaged items only if the damage is noted when you sign for the shipment. If the box is severely damaged, do not sign for it.
If there is a problem, and you wish to make a return, contact us by phone (301-300-0950) or email. Returns will be issued only within fifteen working days of your receipt of your order, not including federal and Jewish holidays (our holiday calendar — will open in a separate window).
If we agree to accept a return, we will issue a Return Authorization Number that you will need to include with your return. We will not accept a returned item that does not have the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the packaging.
It is our policy to pay the return postage on items that are damaged or incorrect, and to rectify our mistake. Our customers pay the return postage on items returned for any other reason, and a credit or refund will be issued for the purchase price. A credit or refund cannot be issued until we receive the returned items. Consider insuring returned items.
Absolutely no packages will be accepted without prior contact.
Our huppah canopies are made by hand. Due to variations in fabrics and materials used in hand-crafted items, slight variations in the texture, color, and appearance of these items can occur. These variations are not damage. If the fabric shown on Huppahs.com is not available at the time of your order, we reserve the right to substitute a similar fabric. We will endeavor to substitute a fabric that is close in color, texture, and weight to the fabric shown on the website.
